Future Scientist Presents: Pandemic Podcasts
As a means to reach out to other scientists both in the United States, Panama, and around the world, we have begun a podcasting initiative in order to shed a personal light on the scientists leading important projects in their respective fields. We want to make science accessible to our audience. We want to highlight the scientist as a person in front of the science that they carry out. We want to humanize them in front of the arduous work that they do. We have so done our interviews on Instagram Live (https://www.instagram.com/futurescientistincpty/; @futurescientistincpty) and you can find announcements for future interviews on our Instagram feed.
Our Interviewer
John Michael Coatney, our project coordinator, does the interviews with our podcast guests. He reaches out to scientists as well as our counter-parts in order to hear their story and understand the work that they do in their respective community or field.
